Getting Married :)

So, yeah. I'm getting married. I'm SO very excited. I'm looking forward to being Mrs. (insert last name here). But with any wedding/ceremony there's a lot of stuff that needs to go into it. So, this week has been STACKED full of all kinds of stuff... and it's not even done yet. My initial plan was so great... spread out but didn't function very well in some parts. So, I'm taking it in stride... but everything is going okay.

A little background... this was all decided in the middle of the week last week... but I was waiting for some "gel" before I announced it. I wanted the ball rolling and going before I posted anything about it. But in that time, my family knows, his family knows, friends know... so it's about time!

Friday, we went out and bought our rings! *YAY!*

Yes, they are two different materials... His ring is titanium. His jobs are much rougher than mine. I think that a normal ring might bend or scuff much easier. This is stronger material. Mine is gold. Simple band. It's what I wanted. Plus, matching titanium would be to heavy for my finger... his ring is much heavier than mine is.

Then, we spent the weekend not doing much of anything to do with the wedding except for telling family about it. I did gather documents on Sunday so we could get our marriage license.


So on Monday (today) we went and got our marriage license. Quick and fairly painless. Instead of the $25 we budgeted, it was only $15. It's now put up in a safe place with the rings :).

Then we slept the day away (I'm on his schedule... so while the kids are in school... I sleep until about 1-2, then I'm up cleaning until 3, then I get the kids and I'm playing/taking care of them, then they go to bed and I clean some more, then do homework, then Steve gets home and after awhile we both go to bed... normally around 4:30-5 AM. Then I'm up at 7 getting everyone ready again, then come home and sleep again... this does this even on the days the kids are not in school, except that I don't get to sleep after 8 AM.)

After Steve went to work, I caught up with Brittany to find me some black slacks to wear with my new red shirt that I had bought. Well, I couldn't find a pair that I liked, so I went with a skirt. I bought it for $3.50!! I should have tried there to find my shirt... but I didn't. Let's see... we went to Wal Mart and bought some hair dye, panty hose (since I went with a skirt instead of pants), a necklace/earring combo). Then off to the dollar store to get some nails (she wants to do my nails that day). Here are some photos of the processes of the day...

This is my outfit... you can see my necklace. My legs will have some color and my hair will be different. I will also have my earrings in and my contacts in.

I'm waiting for my time to be up and I'm talking to my dad on the phone. Today we (or I) told him that I'm getting married on Friday :).

I don't have photos of my hair done back to brown... I'll take the after photos in the morning. I don't have exact plans onto what I'm going to do with my hair. I will be loosing the glasses (if everything goes as planned) on that day. I will have my nails done (either with fake or with paint). I will be wearing hose... (I didn't want to put them on yet because they tend to not look as good the second time).

I'm sure I'll be back around to update again soon... Maybe with more photos... maybe not. I'm not sure. But I'll be back soon! Hopefully, you will all tune in to follow this week's adventures.
