Nesting...

I am completely and totally nesting. Now before you say anything like "You're not even pregnant" you must understand. When you raise kids 11 months out of the year… when you are separated for a month, you feel this strong urge to make everything perfect for them. This is very much like a pregnant woman does during her pregnancy. I'm nesting… worse this year than I did last year! I mean, geesh! I'm breaking a sweat and I'm exhausted but by golly the house will be straightened to perfection!

I talked to my ex's parents today about them going up half way to pick up the kids for me. This came just HOURS before I checked my e-mail for the first time that day (we're talking 3:30, which for me is a RECORD) and found an e-mail from the ex himself. As much as I tried to tell him that I couldn't just plan things the week of, he writes and wants to know if I can meet him Sunday to pick the kids back up. Hello? I've told him and his parents they have to work out the pick up date/time themselves and let me know so I know when to get them from his parents house. Now I'm kinda just sitting here waiting!

I have some topics I want to write about one of these days… probably when I have nothing else to write about… but I have some things on my mind… and it should be interesting to take me out of the "daily" grind and put me in a more "discussion" based grind. We'll see I guess.
