My Introductory Post

With every blog (or almost every blog) I've read, there is always an introduction post (typically close to the beginning) of the blog. Thus said, I will give you my introduction post.

Myself
My name is Jess. I'm 25 years old. I graduated from college in March 2008. I started working less than a month later at Wal Mart. I enjoy reading, blogging, chatting with friends, and spending time with the family. I've been divorced. I have three kids from the previous relationship. Steve and I will probably never have kids together, although I'm fighting with my doctors to untie my tubes because I have PTLS (post tubal ligation syndrome) and I basically live on some sort of pain killers. Even after that I don't think we will have kids anytime soon (if ever).

My Husband
His name is Steve. Heck, before it's over... you might even see him posting on here (but not at the moment). He's 28 years old. He works at a local shipping company at the moment. He enjoys being outside doing "manly" stuff (fixing stuff or tearing it up... whichever way you look at it!). He's been divorced as well. He has one kid from the first marriage and two from the second... giving me three step children. He's supportive of me getting my tubes untied so that I can feel better and not have to take pain killers (tylenol, since the other stuff they give me makes me tired... I only take it on my worse days) everyday.







The Wedding

We got married on October 19th, 2007 in a SMALL ceremony at the court house. In fact, the people that you see in the photo were it. You see my husband, myself, my best friend Karen, and our friend Brian. We also had a photographer friend there and the judge of course! We look forward to many years together in the future and can't wait to see where we end up! It's another of life's adventures! (Photo is us exchanging rings.)


Our Family
So, like I said we have a fairly large amount of kids. Between the two of us we have 6, however only 5 come see us. Laura is the oldest and she's 8 years old (She's Aug). *D* is the next oldest and he's 8 years old (he's also the one I don't have any photos of). *A* is the next and he's 6 years old (He's Sept). Caleb is next and he is 6 years old (He's Oct). *R* is next and he's 4 years old (He's Sept). Then there is Matt who is 4 years old (He's Jan). They do keep us busy... but it's a job that I wouldn't give up for the world. I love them all!
