A Date :)

I mentioned the other day that I wanted nothing more than to have a date away with my husband. I also mentioned that we already had a date planned. There was a fair going on that I wanted to get to go to. Well, we turned it into something that was a bit more than "just" a fair. J I'm SSOOO happy. A quick run down of how our date night went… (Easter 2006 I was given a Pondorosa gift card from a friend of mine… it was something like $20.) Steve and I FINALLY went out to eat some place that wasn't McDonalds. We went and ate at Pondorosa. It was pretty good. We enjoyed food and each other's company. Then we headed to Wal Mart to get a gas card because you save 3 cents per gallon (and come on, every little thing helps) just by using their GIFT cards… not one of those "credit card" scams. Anyways, we headed out to the fair a couple towns over. We ran into some friend of ours and they were going to the car durby that was going to start at 7… they gave us some extra money since we didn't have extra. We took enough to eat, get into the fair, and bracelets for rides. Anyways, we watched the car durby (which was pretty cool). Then we ate some funnel cakes and we drank some lemon shake ups. It was VERY yummy! Since the rides SUCKED… we played some darts instead and Steve won me a stuffed kitten. J It's pretty cute. Then we came home… I posted this and now I'm going to sleep.
