Landlord

Today we met our new landlord. We didn't even know that they were still selling the house (the last person's loan fell through). But he came over today and introduced himself. He let us know that he was wanting to cut down (or trim one of them) three trees from the yard... okay. So, he started this afternoon with his cutting down of the trees! He finished cutting all the lower limbs of a pine tree we had in front of our house... he finished trimming the other tree in the front yard. He worked on getting some of the plants off the fence (which is funny because I wanted them down anyways... but I wasn't sure how the old landlord would feel about me cutting it down!). He has yet to start on the dead tree in the back yard but since that's just a cutting it down thing... he's waiting until he has help as well as finishing the main tree part of that pine tree in the front yard. Overall, the new landlord seems nice. He's really trying to make some improvements with the house (which makes Steve wonder if he's going to sell it?). He's talking about in the spring putting new siding up on the house... which would ROCK!

Laura had homework today... and she fought me tooth and nail until it was finished. That child's gonna have to give something here soon in her additude. She was just being lazy today though. She wanted me to give her the answers and I don't do that. In the end she did it all by herself and she was very proud. Silly girl.

Caleb didn't get a sticker today :( He says that he got one but they didn't have the kind that he wanted so he didn't take any. I asked him if he would at least get one even if he doesn't want it because it shows mommy that he was a good little boy. When he doesn't come home with a sticker it's because he's been bad and had to move his clip.

Matthew had his second day at Head Start... he stays dry during his morning pre-k program at the school... but always pees his pants during the Head Start program. I'm hoping it's nerves. Because he normally does great at home. He was much happier getting off the bus today than he was yesterday because he knew he was going to see mommy.

I'm not sure how much I will be around this weekend... it's our weekend with Steve's boys! Which means, 5 kids and 2 (sometimes 1) adult! I'm not sure if Steve's working this weekend or not, which would tell me more on if I would be around online quiet as much. LOL! But it's all good! I can't wait to see the boys again and neither can the kids.
